The Janet Reno

Janet Wood Reno (July 21, 1938 – November 7, 2016) was an American lawyer who served as the Attorney General of the United States from 1993 until 2001. President Bill Clinton nominated Reno on February 11, 1993, and the Senate confirmed her the following month. She was the first woman to serve as Attorney General and the second-longest serving Attorney General in U.S. history, after William Wirt. (wiki article)

But really, I just made myself laugh as I was thinking of what to name this Blog. I don’t blog. I don’t even really read blogs. I don’t know if I should capitalize the work blog. Blog?

The name I use for my art practice is Jane Trash. Over the last 14 years, one alias was not enough. So I moved the T over and started using the name, Janet Rash. Just sometimes. When I feel like it. It’s a joke that only makes me laugh

Megan’s house makeover is a dumb name for a blog. It probably even already exists. But Janet’s Renovation is Janet’s Reno for short, and then we have Janet Reno. This name is undoubtedly stupid for a blog as well, and I do not intend to ever talk about American politics. However, Janet was a pretty interesting lady and Will Ferrel did a hell of a job impersonating her in the 90’s when SNL really meant something to my Saturday Nights.

So there you have it. Welcome to Janet Reno.
